We are ofter someone with metal roofing experience. We Auckland based specialize in Long Run Metal Roofing company. We mainly focus on the residential House, Garage and Carport Re-Roofing and Roof Gutter Maintenance work. We pride ourselves on great workmanship. A full-time permanent roofer is required for My Homes construct Ltd. The minimum work hours will be 30 per week and maximum will be 50 per week. The minimum wage is $27.00 ph and maximum wages will be $35.00ph. Candidates should pass a background check and be physically fit. New Zealand citizens or residents will be preferable. Please mention if you are a NZ resident or citizen.

The right applicant must:
- Dealing with multiple clients and homeowners
- Measure and cut project materials
- smooth and level roof surfaces
- Removal of roofing and gutter materials
- Install roofing and gutter materials
- General roof and gutter repairs
- Carrying out roof and gutter maintenance i.e. moss treating
- Cleaning and coating roofs and gutter
- Completing site set up and clean up
- Delivery product to various sites as needed
- Erecting of mobile scaffolding system
- Cleaning and taking care of the yard/sites/doing tip runs
- All duties completed with awareness of health and safety regulations and using appropriate safety systems
- All duties completed with utmost care of client property
What you need to be a successful candidate:
- Class 1 driving licence
- A minimum of 4 years roofing experience, preferably here in New Zealand with metal roof repairs and new installations
- Great communication skills
- Health and Safety conscious
- Be able to organise and run a project from start to finish

Job Description:

The right applicant must:
- Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
- Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurement
- Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
- Lay out floorings, roofings or drywalls ensuring they are levelled and compatible
- Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items and install them where designated
- nailing fascia panels, sheathing roofs, and fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames
- Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance
- Build scaffolding and other construction structures
- Proven experience as a carpenter
- Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc)
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times and comply with all Company safety requirements and procedures
- Maintain clean and tidy work area
- The use of PPE (which includes wet weather gear) will allow the employee to work in all climatic or environmental conditions unless deemed unsafe by the Safety Supervisor
- Participate in improvements that enhance product quality within the time envelope and optimise the labour and material resources required
- Carried out Gutter fixing, cleaning, and replacement
What you need to be a successful candidate:

- Minimum of 2 years carpenter experience, preferably here in New Zealand
